Summertime


This is more like an excellent lunch - a cup of steaming hot
tomato soup with a cheese sandwich added. 
 Perhaps not the first thing that would pop through your visual cortex in the morning, but still an excellent summer food - there are so many types of mussels, oysters and clams to choose from! Perhaps not the cheapest food in the world, but finger-licking good and also always a topic of conversation. If you really want to impress the girl, show her that you can eat it :D

you want your conscience and body to be good playmates. 
As most of you probably know, I love food, and can't help playing with it. Below is one of my personal favorites, created in order to be Halloween finger food. It has since reappeared when we celebrated Halloween in the tower. Ah, I remember that occasion with fondness. One of my workmates brought meat-turtles, shells of bacon, and I made my mummies. Yes, they were received with much enthusiasm, are quite easy to make and with a supreme flavor! It is of course the attention to detail that spawns the reactions - the tiny little headband and the eyes that I have gouged out and filled with capers.

Some of you have been eagerly reminding me to tell you guys about how the houses are coming along, and what the next bid for location is. Not easy to convey any real clues, since we are in the dark ourselves. Well, we have looked at a lot of houses, let me tell you, and things are both looking up and turning bleaker. Today is a big day, though, since we actually placed a bid on a house today! Not the one we really expected to, though. The first house of today was a real keeper - we REALLY liked it! Complete in every way! But, and there is always a but, the protocols show some deficiencies AND the couple can't let us have it until the 1st of September! Growl! Like I said in my last post, we really need it before the 11th of July. Ah, well, perhaps a solution will appear.

 Anyway, when we sat there looking over houses, we decided to place a bit on one of the existing ones. It was a shameful bid really, a quarter of a million below the asked price, but with a bonus if they move out before the 11th of July. Hope is not high that they will accept it, but the question is free. The realtor will convey the bid tomorrow. And then we'll see. There are a couple of opportunities but if worst comes to worst, we will have to rent someplace to live until the house is done. So perhaps rent a cottage or apartment for a month or two. Anyone know of a place around July and August? Preferably furniture included, since ours will be in storage...

Mål och moralkompasser Hur använder man materialet?  För moralkompassen, ange siffan för vilken personlighetsegenskap det gäller, och sedan 1 till 10 för var på skalan karaktären befinner sig. 1.1 betyder tex en med lägsta möjliga samvete och 5.10 är en som håller sanningen i högsta möjliga aktning.  Moralkompass  1. Samvete. Visar på nivån av aktning man visar för samhällets normer under rådande tid. På den lägre änden så går man från att vara rent ohövlig till att bli mer brottslig och samvetslöst kanske våldtar, mördar och rånar. På den högre änden så är man artig och lyder inte bara lagen utan "vad som är rätt", såsom seder och normer.  2. Arbetsmoral. På den låga sidan har vi latmaskar som undviker arbete till alla pris och kommer alltid försöka få andra att utföra jobbet åt dem. Kan till och med gå så långt att riskera liv för att maska. På den höga sidan har vi de som utför sina plikter med vigör, som fyller sina dagar med aktiviteter och träning och underhåll...

  Enchance your roleplaying part II tricks of the trade I was listening to my favorite RPG podcast, "Ain't Slayed Nobody" and was reflecting on the interplay between the character and the player. The pod has a lot of improvisational focus and the players are almost always extravagantly skilled at this concept.  Building on each other  One of the major rules for improvisational theatre is one a good player and Gamemaster should internalize as well - Don't say no! Say yes, but... and add to the story.  If other players are attempting to use something against your character, the natural impulse is to feel degraded or overruled and to resist. Experiment with allowing the manipulation, and allowing that to add to your character.
