Next New Year's celebration will be held at the house, with the new family. And there will be rockets. And I will not be working. It will be the best new year's yet! Hopefully, there will be guests as well, like mom and pops. |
Now, things are coming together. In one week today, the keys to the new house will be placed in my greedy little paws, and THEIR greedy little paws will be overflowing with almost three million Swedish playmoney. Still, a fair exchange I would say. And now, when things are drawing to a close, I am reaching the brim of my proverbial stressbeaker. This week, I am packing everything in little crates and dismantling furniture and so on. On Monday, the deed goes through, and we will inspect the house and so on. Perhaps even move some smaller things. Tuesday will be the big moving day, and it will be a haul, let me tell you. Wednesday will be for putting things in their place, and also to allow the cleaning crew to handle the apartment. Thursday then... Well, I will be working and then I will be coming home to the new home! Magnificent feeling. Instead of an hour door-to-door, it will be about six minutes. To a nice garden, a good meal in the new kitchen and something nice to drink to celebrate the new lair. So my next step now is to get packing. Yes, I will be disappearing from the face of the Earth for about a week now. Sorry about that, all. Will get back to you soon enough!

When I first arrived here at Norrköping, my apartment was in a poor state. Not finished but very inspiring already. I painted all my walls white, so that I could live here and decide what I wanted later on. Turned out... I didn't need to :) |

And speaking of cooking, I am sure that none of you who have stayed faithful to my blog have missed the point that I enjoy cooking. Lately, I have explored tastes, new recipes and new inspirations but I will turn my goal to something new now. Since my hobby happens to be photography, I thought to widen my perspective into the realm of presentation. We shall see further along how that goes. As for the idea above, that was BEFORE my presentation-era. Still, a good tip for anyone who plans a nice but quick meal : use WRAPS!
Wraps are excellent in that you can use them cold or hot, and you can fill them with anything and present them more or less how you choose. They can be as easy as quesadillas, where you just fill them with cheese and perhaps some spices and then fry them in the pan, to immense creations with seafood or perhaps entrècôte and stilton cheese with leeks. Yes, indeed, I cannot praise wraps highly enough.
