Theme of night

On the merry theme of night, today is a very special day. Not only for the reason that today is the day when they commence the dismantling of the cultural heritage of the old "malmbana" around Köping, no. Which is in itself a disaster, I might add! I mean, there is a complete railroad in the sky, and I have been dying to snap some shots of it every time I pass by. Now, they are destroying a magnificent construction, instead of using the preexisting possibilities. Imagine Sweden's longest skytrain! Or just some great Noir-shots... But noooo...
Instead, today is very special. I have just come slid into the tower to serve another morning shift as a peon in the great factory of the sky, but today I get to take home my bed-linen and my sleeping bag! Yessiree, no more sleeping in the tower for me (or as Vendela said "unless you piss me off and the dogs have taken the sofa") which is nothing short of a great victory! Little over a week until I move and then my cozy, warm bed will be only six minutes away. Muahaahahhahahaaaaaa!

Night time sharpens, heightens each sensation... Here is the church from the square of Barcelona, located in the middle of the labyrinth that constitutes the artistic old block of winding, veinlike alleys. If this doesn't feel as if you have stumbled into an H.P. Lovecraft-story, I don't know what does.
When it comes to photography, one of the most capturing and never-ending streams of inspiration is faces. With the myriad of variations and pecularities, one would hardly ever require anything else as a subject. And on the night theme, here's my little sweetheart with a look that can melt a cheese sandwich across the room.
And continuing, my photography is once more picking up speed. All things come in waves, I guess. Now, Vendela has as well regained her interest in the matter, and is spurring me so slowly but surely my Flickr-site is filling up with old and new material. Some new sessions have already been planned, and a new priority job has also muscled it's way into my agenda. That makes for some really good upcoming shoots! Right now, I am aching to do the photoshoot for my good friend, the horror novelist Michael Faun. That's right, you probably remember him as the scary fellow from my horror collection of pictures... And then I have received a task to shoot pictures for a series of articles for my employer, on the theme of airports. Seems somehow suitable for me... As if I should have some special access or something, I don't know.
