Time has passed...

As many might have noticed, it has been some time since my last input here. This has not been due to lack of events that have transpired, but rather the opposite. In fact, I have a somewhat horrendous backlog of things to write about, if I could just find the time! Some of the happiest moments of my life thus far have transpired, and some of the most sad ones. I have wed my beautiful wife (she helped a bit, naturally... I mostly said... "I do") and been on a very interesting honeymoon... week.

Matters have not really calmed down yet. Even though the touching ceremony of the double funeral is now behind us, there remains a lot of stressful matters to attend to. Papers, papers, papers everywhere dealing with debts, accounts, bills and other economic matters. Add to this the more physical things that need to be sorted, moved and so on, and it amounts to a lot. Such a thing is rarely discussed, so it's new for everyone who has to go through it, unfortunately. Death is something to be avoided at all cost which is sort of strange, since everyone has to deal with it sooner or later.

Most of the summer has now passed by, and the upcoming blogposts will be about the trip to Gotland. Meanwhile, autumn is upon us with all the pleasures that it can afford us all. For instance, Amanda will start her new school on Friday, something akin to the arrival of the Apocalypse. Vendela is studying hard, trying to finish up the summer courses before the next ones start. Myself, I am pretty buried in work, bringing up the slack from the summer, while also getting ready for the studies I am about to undertake. Hectic but also promising, I should say.

As for my photo projects, I have now completed the two big ones. Next will be some brides shots, some horror author session and something else that catches my fancy. Time will tell ;)

Mål och moralkompasser Hur använder man materialet?  För moralkompassen, ange siffan för vilken personlighetsegenskap det gäller, och sedan 1 till 10 för var på skalan karaktären befinner sig. 1.1 betyder tex en med lägsta möjliga samvete och 5.10 är en som håller sanningen i högsta möjliga aktning.  Moralkompass  1. Samvete. Visar på nivån av aktning man visar för samhällets normer under rådande tid. På den lägre änden så går man från att vara rent ohövlig till att bli mer brottslig och samvetslöst kanske våldtar, mördar och rånar. På den högre änden så är man artig och lyder inte bara lagen utan "vad som är rätt", såsom seder och normer.  2. Arbetsmoral. På den låga sidan har vi latmaskar som undviker arbete till alla pris och kommer alltid försöka få andra att utföra jobbet åt dem. Kan till och med gå så långt att riskera liv för att maska.   Enchance your roleplaying part II tricks of the trade I was listening to my favorite RPG podcast, "Ain't Slayed Nobody" and was reflecting on the interplay between the character and the player. The pod has a lot of improvisational focus and the players are almost always extravagantly skilled at this concept.  Building on each other  One of the major rules for improvisational theatre is one a good player and Gamemaster should internalize as well - Don't say no! Say yes, but... and add to the story.  If other players are attempting to use something against your character, the natural impulse is to feel degraded or overruled and to resist. Experiment with allowing the manipulation, and allowing that to add to your character.
