Back on the air!
First of all, I am back like the famous Slim Shady! Except, of course, there's really nothing slim about me. And I tend to be dodgy, rather than shady. Shall we say Chunky Dodgy and be done with it?
For those of you who have intimately followed my life, you are probably aware that I have recently made some hard career choices, taking on some added responsibility and generally feeling overwhelmed because of the fact. Still, life is slowly but surely moving back towards a more stable constellation, and this has of course sparked the old interest in my hobbies.
I have been editing for a good while now, and there is still a humongous amount of old pictures and sessions remaining on the computer. Some have been dormant for so long that they have turned politically incorrect, but I am going through a process of revival, and so will they. And also tying some very interesting new contacts, so with some luck, there are a couple of studios that will work in close association with me. So I will have some space to continue shooting, and yeah, I will be happy to take on assignments with this in regard!
Last year, I was on a trip to Gotland and Visby and Fårö, and it was really memorable and interesting! The views were spectacular and the journey was topped off with the culmination in Visby of the Medieval Week. This year, we are planning a return. Presently, we are scanning for potential places to stay, and there is no shortage of offerings, let me tell you. Perhaps we will be able to borrow a house from some friends, or perhaps stay at a local inn, or even rent a magnificent villa with the potential of having my parents along for the ride. Either way, there will be some turing with the car around the island, and some staying in Visby.
Other good news for my hobbies - well, roleplaying will probably shortly move into my life again. It gave way to the martial arts of kickboxing and shootfighting some time ago, but might just make a return. The return of the Nerd in the older days, as it were. Of course, Vendela will be forced to try it out as well, but the potential wins are huge!
If you happen to like the pictures, feel free to leave a comment. Even better, if you have potential subjects to be shot (by camera), leave me a note!
Cooking has always been something of a passion with me. Or, as one also could argue, it is a pithy excuse for the fact that I just cannot hold the weight I would. But still, with the occasional bout of exercise, we afford ourselves to some good eating in this household. Today, we are celebrating Easter. Yes, the holiday of eggs, and bunnies, and candy... Had something to do about someone being nailed to a cross and ressurrected, but I don't really see the connection to the bunny, or to the fact that we are having lamb today. Anyway, a rigid brunch where I whipped up some scrambled eggs with white truffles and a sprinkling of parmesan and chives, and then me and Vendela spent the afternoon kicking some zombie butt! Meanwhile, tonight's roast is happily sizzling away in the oven. Tonight we'll feast on lambroast with mentha (or mint) and root vegetables. For a new challenge, leavened caraway or pine nuts in attic. Ask not why, ask why not!
This was just a short note to let you guys know that I am back. I will be back with more shortly, with some pictures to prove it ;)
