The pod has a lot of improvisational focus and the players are almost always extravagantly skilled at this concept.  Building on each other  One of the major rules for improvisational theatre is one a good player and Gamemaster should internalize as well - Don't say no! Always remember that someone is watching.  Enhancing your roleplaying Some challenges for the avid GM Improvisational-style challenges are fantastic for fostering creativity and quick thinking, as well as providing a new depth to connection between the player and the character.  Encourage spontaneity. Force players to react to unexpected situations without overthinking. This can help stay in character and make authentic decisions on the fly, without optimising their thoughts.   Foster collaboration. Players should build on each other's actions and cues and ideas, creating a shared narrative that is richer and more dynamic.  Character depth. By focusing on emotions, physical actions or hidden motivations, the player can help himself get a stronger sense of who the character is, beyond the stats on the sheet.   Problem-solving under pressure.  Vultures and Vengeance Session One 1.1              The man in black Returning home from a laborious day on the range, the Boon siblings spot a pillar of smoke. The homestead was left in flames when they approached, with bodies strewn about, their lifeblood seeping into the thirsty desert sand. Of their parents or grandfather Jeremiah, there was no trace, but that was yet unclear whether it was a blessing or if their charred corpses were lingering in the embers of the main house. Caution preceded courage as the siblings scrabbled among the remains, gathering what they could and headed west before there could be a return of the perpetrators to the scene of the crime.
