Time to reengage

Wow, this summer is really something! Walking the dogs today was like stepping into the mid-African heat on the blazing savannah. Staying in the sun for long is almost impossible, but hey, I DO have the greatest excuse for staying in the shade. Or had. With the cancer now carved out of me, there are some legit reasons for staying in the shadows. To protect the wound and stitches, of course. I can't go into the pool until the wound is fully closed. And well, since sunlight caused the melanoma to start with, perhaps I SHOULD learn something from it? So far, almost three quarters of my summer vacation has passed, and with the cancer and all, I haven't really started to relax. Now, things are looking up, though. Yesterday, we took the new PHEV-car offroad to have a little impromptu photoshoot. Naturally, when we got there, it was too late.
